Job Title: Student Support Assistant – SEN
Location: Crawley
Contract: Full-Time, Monday – Friday (Term Time only) 8:30 – 3:45
Salary: £89 daily rate
Start Date: ASAP

Masterclass are working with a supportive SEN Primary school dedicated to meeting the needs of students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. We are seeking a Student Support Assistant to join their committed team and help provide high-quality, person-centred support to their learners.
Your Role:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN in the classroom and during unstructured times.
* Help implement individual education and behaviour plans, under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
* Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs using appropriate strategies.
* Assist with personal care, supervision, and the safe use of specialist equipment as required.
* Promote independence, confidence, and positive relationships for all students.
We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school or care settings is desirable but not essential).
* A calm, patient and resilient approach to supporting diverse needs.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all learners.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn through training and collaboration.

Must have:
* Ability to work well independently and as a team
* Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
* A DBS on the Updates Service
