Are you passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their educational journey? A school in Roehampton is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a 6th Form student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
About the Role:
This is a temporary, full-time position working closely with a post 16 student who requires tailored assistance. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the student on a 1:1 basis during lessons and activities.
* Assisting with personal care as part of their daily routine.
* Encouraging the student’s development and helping them engage in their education.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other special educational needs is highly desirable.
* A patient, caring, and proactive individual with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
* A valid child and adult DBS certificate registered on the update service is essential.
* Strong English communication skills
* Please note: This is a full-time role and not suitable for part-time applicants.

* Location: Roehampton
* Age Group: 6th Form students
* Working Hours: 08:45 – 16:45 (Fridays until 16:00)
* Pay Rates: £85 per day
