The School and the Role

Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of a successful two-form entry Primary School in the Rainhill area, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proative Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one behavioural support for a child in Reception. As their designated Teaching Assistant, it will be your responsibility to support the child on a one-one basis, working full-time Monday to Friday.

You will have access to support and training from school, as well as impressive school resources. In-line with the child’s EHCP, you’ll play a pivotal role in removing the students’ barriers to learning and supporting them to achieve their full potential. You will be working closely with the SENDCo and outside agencies to enable the student to progress through the curriculum, so strong communication skills will be essential to the role.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

A passion for SEND and experience working with Primary aged children
A positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
An ability to work as part of a team
Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
