Learning Support Assistant (SW16)

We have an amazing opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join an inclusive school in Streatham (SW16) on a long-term contract.

What You’ll Do:

Support students with diverse learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their personal goals.
Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons, ensuring they are accessible to every student.
Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
Help with classroom management, supporting students to stay engaged and focused.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a similar role, particularly working with children with SEN (KS1/2)
A genuine passion for inclusion and helping students succeed, no matter their challenges.
Strong communication skills, able to connect with students, staff, and parents.
A proactive, flexible attitude, ready to adapt to the changing needs of the students.
A DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
