Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a committed Year 6 Teaching Assistant to support SATs boosters and interventions at a welcoming primary school in Islington. This full-time role is set to start from February Half Term and offers an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on pupils’ academic progress.
The Role:
Provide targeted support to Year 6 students in preparation for their SATs exams.
Deliver small group interventions and one-to-one support in core subjects such as Maths and English.
Work closely with the class teacher to identify students who require additional assistance.
Help to implement engaging and effective learning strategies to boost confidence and attainment.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working in KS2, particularly Year 6, is essential.
A strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum, with a focus on SATs preparation.
Ability to differentiate learning activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable.What We Offer:
