Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistants

Immediate Start

Location: Burnham

Hours: Full or Part Time (8:30 – 15:30)

Start: ASAP

Salary: £80 – 100 per day

We are currently working with a wonderful school in Marlow to recruit three KS2 Teaching Assistants to join their team. The successful Teaching Assistants will receive excellent training and development opportunities from the Senior Leadership Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Supporting KS2 students in their learning, both inside and outside of the classroom

Working with small groups to facilitate engaging and interactive learning activities

Providing 1:1 support to individual pupils based on their specific needs

Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management

Taking students outside of the classroom for practical and interactive learning experiences

Supporting students with special educational needs, such as Autism, ADHD, or physical disabilities

Encouraging the development of social and emotional skills in KS2 pupils

Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have/be:

Prior experience working with KS2 children, preferably in a school setting

A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and the ability to support students in key subjects

Knowledge of special educational needs or a strong desire to learn and develop in this area

The ability to manage challenging behaviour in a positive and constructive manner

A commitment to working fixed days, either full or part-time

A clear and valid DBS check registered on the update service, or the willingness to obtain one
