Team LeaderCJ Prosecutions Unit Grade D – £27,789 – £29,874Full Time Permanent HQ, Rose Hill

Job Purpose:

To be responsible for leading a team that provides a comprehensive administrative support service to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of a centralised Prosecutions Unit in bringing offenders to justice.

Manage workload of Prosecutions Support and Witness Care teams to ensure a high standard of service delivery across the Unit complying with relevant timescales, legislative obligations e.g. Victim’s Code of Practice, procedural and statutory requirements.

Assist the Prosecutions Unit Support Officer to identify development needs across the unit, maintain staff competence across all functions in order to ensure effective outcomes.

Ensure the efficient management of the team with regard to annual leave, sickness, health and safety, flexible working, team resilience, welfare, overtime and apply information to relevant systems. Conduct performance reviews in accordance with Force policy identifying any training needs to develop staff.
