How am I trained and developed?

What do I do as a Trainee?
You will undoubtably have seen sales roles advertised looking for hunters not farmers. At Opogo, unlike lots of sales roles out there, the account management role offers variety and the chance to quickly build long-lasting relationships with both existing and new clients. Not only will you seek out the new business, but you will nurture and grow existing accounts. Your role will be 360, i.e you will do every element of the sales cycle which is super exciting. Think of it as your own little business where you will need to be both Hunter and Farmer.
As a trainee you will begin life in the Candidate Team with progression. Once you are competent at identifying, onboarding and nurturing Candidates and are confident in your role, your KPIs and targets will increase as you earn commission in this team. You will then progress into the role of Junior Account Manager and be trained on the Schools facing aspect of the role as you seek out new business opportunities, and the opportunity to earn commission grows.
The most vital aspect of the role is to promote engagement with Opogo technology by articulating the unique features and benefits of the Opogo app-based solution, highlighting how it addresses the pain points and improves the recruitment experience for both schools and candidates. This entails developing and promoting a compelling value proposition that emphasizes the time and cost savings, efficiency, and effectiveness achieved through the use of our technological solution. This will be done with the full support and training of the team.

Qualifications– Educational and Other Requirements:
- A degree in any discipline is preferred but not essential
