Carbon60 are looking for a number Trainee Coil Operatives known as a Coil Operatives to join a large Engineering company based in Greenford. This position is on a Temp to Perm basis.
This Coil Operative position is working for our client that offer engineering components and services to their clients. They also pride themselves in providing a maintenance service for gearboxes, pumps, motors, and other rotating equipment.
This position will be working in their coil manufacturing facility. Full training is provided on this position.
Skills Required:
- Commitment to working to high quality procedures and standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience with basic hand and power tools
- Experience of working in an engineering environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
Job Duties:
- Dismantling electric motors using hand tools.
- Taking all windings out using chisel/hammer operation.
- Using abrasives to clean out the parts (includes use of angle grinders)
- Using chemicals to wash motor casing and steam cleaning.
- Using short blaster to clean all motor parts.
- Using crane operations for all activities
- Training provided.
Working Hours are Monday – Friday
