What you’ll be doing;
Operate forklift truck for loading/unloading palletised waste (training provided)
Learn and maintain compliance with hazardous waste storage requirements
Support and participate in local safety initiatives
Master internal systems and procedures
Perform waste bulking and repacking operations including oils, aerosols, batteries, and hazardous materials
Conduct daily and weekly facility inspections
Maintain facility cleanliness through housekeeping duties (sweeping, tidying, jet washing)
Ensure operations comply with legislation, site license, and company procedures
What we’re looking for;
Proficient in IT, particularly Excel spreadsheets
Minimum GCSE qualifications in English and maths
A-levels preferred
Forklift experience beneficial but not mandatory
Strong commitment to health and safety principles
Ability to comprehend work instructions and risk assessments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors with strong work ethic
