Job Title: Transport Administrator
Location: Farnworth
Employment Type: Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,000 – £26,000

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are routed and utilised effectively while meeting customer requirements on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering calls, managing bookings, and communicating effectively with customers.
  • Confirming services via phone and email.
  • Wasted journey reporting, re booking, and rescheduling services.
  • Conducting driver debriefs and monitoring driver KPIs.
  • Generating customer reports and updating systems daily.
  • Accurate data input onto Excel and internal systems.
  • Building effective relationships with customers, sub-contractors, drivers, and internal teams (Transport Manager and Fleet Manager).

Requirements:

  • Location: Farnworth (must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting).
  • Education: GCSE or equivalent (required).
  • Experience:
  • Transport office.
  • Administrative experience.
