Transport Administrator
Location: Feltham, London – Location isn’t accessible by public transport
Salary: £28,000 per year
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pertemps are currently looking for a Transport Administrator to join our clients team in Feltham. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and looking to work in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our transport services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the transport team, ensuring efficient operations.
Coordinate Driver schedules and maintain accurate records of routes and deliveries.
Manage communications with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Handle customer inquiries related to transport and deliveries.
Process transport-related paperwork, including delivery notes, invoices, and timesheets.
Assist in tracking fleet movements and ensuring all records are up-to-date.
Prepare reports and assist with data entry for transport and logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other administrative tools.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
