Unqualified Nursery Assistant Opportunity

This position would be perfect for a Nursery Assistant looking to progress in their childcare career and become Qualified, Very exciting opportunity!

  • SUPER Salary from £12.50 – £12.75 PER HOUR – Circa £27,000 per annum

  • Have a driving license or are local to RG10, due to our location. FREE Onsite Parking

Part Time & Full Time Options below

  • 3, 4 or 5 Day Options
  • 30, 40 or 42.5 Hours available
  • All Year Round / Permanent
  • Shift patterns – 7.45 am to 6.15 pm with a half an hour break or 8-hour shifts over Monday to Friday with an hour break.

About the RoleIn this role, you will support children’s learning and development, following the EYFS standards to create a warm and stimulating environment. You’ll work closely with children, parents, and carers, contributing to a high standard of care and education through engaging activities and a commitment to outdoor learning. This position would suit a Nursery Assistant looking to progress in their childcare career.

Unqualified Nursery Assistant Responsibilities

  • Providing the highest level of childcare and early education experiences for all children in the nursery.
  • Working as part of a passionate staff team and contributing to the running and development of the nursery.
  • Ensuring that children’s learning and development are celebrated with the child and their families.
  • Using your knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage & child development to plan and implement interest-led, engaging learning activities on a daily basis.

About YouThe ideal candidate will:

  • MUST HAVE MINIMUM – 2 years previous childcare/nursery experience
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
  • Possess excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and carers
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
