People Solutions are currently recruiting for an afternoon Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire.

As a Van Driver, you will receive the following benefits:

Day-to-Day Duties

Your duties as a Van Driver will include but are not limited to:

Completing daily vehicle checks before and after your shift
Working as part of a two-person team
Delivering furniture from the client’s Coatbridge warehouse to customers’ homes
Placing delivered items in the customer’s room of choice
Being flexible with start times between 12:00 and 14:00, with shifts ending by 22:00 at the latest

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Van Driver, you must:

Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
Have no more than six points on your Driving Licence for minor infringements (no DR or DD convictions)
Be prepared for physically demanding work, including heavy lifting

Desirable Experience

Previous experience in a physically demanding role is advantageous but not essential.

Training Provided

You will receive manual handling training and be partnered with an experienced team member for at least one shift to learn the role and procedures.
