The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for order picking/packing or sorting from warehouse stock in preparation for loading to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the business whilst maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction and safety.
We are looking for people who want to learn and experience more. Our client offers excellent career advancement opportunities, with internal training available. After 12 weeks, there is the chance to temp to perm.

Salary of £11.44 per hour
Working as a warehouse operative in Crick:
You will work accurately under pressure, safely and securely, and possess a desire to learn & develop. The role is physical and hands-on.
- Complete all consignment paperwork in an accurate and timely manner to deliver a world class service;
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies relating to missing items of stock and dispatch to reduce customer complaints;
- Undertake daily/weekly safety checks on the manual handling equipment and work areas, complete any relevant paperwork and deliver to your Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager to ensure the business is fully compliant;
- Operate high standards of general housekeeping in order to maintain a clean and tidy workplace at all times;
- Work in a safe manner and in compliance with Health and Safety regulations to reduce the risk of accidents;
- Assist other departments as and when necessary in order to ensure the smooth running of the business.
- Use of scanner.
Skills
- Forklift license and experience desired but no necessary.
- Strong organisational skills with professional and clear communications skills;
- Positive attitude possessing high levels of commitment, motivation, and flexibility;
- Have an eye for detail to ensure accuracy and precision;
- Possess strong numeracy skills;
- Ability to work flexibly to cover shifts and work to tight deadlines;
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and safe working practices.
