Role: Webchat Associate Location: Belfast / Hybrid Rate of Pay: £14.29 per hour Start Date: 23rd July 2025 Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking full-time, temporary Webchat Associates to join their organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, solving problems, and supporting customers via webchat. Contract Duration: This role is initially approved for 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on operational needs and potential to become permanent. Training: Successful candidates will undertake 4 weeks of classroom-based training starting 23rd July 2025. Upon satisfactory completion and meeting performance expectations, the role will transition to a hybrid working model with one day per week in the office (Wednesdays). Key Responsibilities: Provide real-time support to customers via webchat with empathy, clarity, and professionalism. Develop expertise in our client's financial products, services, and digital tools. Troubleshoot and resolve customer queries efficiently and effectively. Deliver exceptional service to create memorable customer experiences. Achieve performance targets while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and feedback to support continuous improvement. Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Sunday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm (including some bank holidays). Location: Office location is in Belfast City Centre. Working Pattern: Training: Full-time onsite, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday for 4-6 weeks. Post-training: Hybrid working with one day in the office (Wednesday) and remote for the remaining days. (Hybrid working is subject to satisfactory completion of traning and meeting performance expectations) Essential Requirements: Previous customer service experience. Excellent written communication skills. Proficiency with IT and digital tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
