Welder / Fabricator
Location: Gloucester
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:45 – 16:00, Friday 07:45 – 15:30
Pay: Hourly rate depending on experience and quality
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension contributions
We are working with a specialist engineering firm seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their team. This is a hands-on role requiring a skilled fabricator with a background in pressure vessels and piping spools, capable of working to high standards.
Key Responsibilities of a Welder / Fabricator:
* Fabrication and welding of pressure vessels and piping spools to customer specifications
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to carry out accurate work
* Welding using MIG/MAG and TIG processes, with codes to ASME IX standard
* Working with carbon steel and stainless steel materials
Key Skills of a Welder / Fabricator:
* Proven welding and fabrication experience in a similar setting
* Coded in MIG/MAG and TIG welding to ASME IX (essential)
* Confident working with both carbon and stainless steels
* Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
