London, SE1 (with hybrid working)
About Us
Sported is a charity that delivers expertise, resources, and vital support to organisations that use sport and physical activity to make a positive impact on young people and on our communities.
Our primary conduit is a network of clubs and groups that reached almost one million young people across the UK in 2023-24. Through support, resources, and funding all provided at no cost we create social impact and lower the barriers that prevent our next generation from realising their full potential. Working with trusted local leaders across London, we are there with solutions from our team, backed up by a pool of volunteer consultants who provide professional support.
In line with the GLAs ambitions to increase opportunities for underrepresented young Londoners across sport, our impact focuses on areas such as community cohesion, crime reduction, mental wellbeing, closing the attainment gap, and raising the levels of inclusion among marginalised young people.
We are now looking for a Women and Girls Development Intern to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week over four days.
