A well established, local client are looking for a highly organised Workshop Administrator to join their team due to continued growth within the business on an initial temporary basis, with potential to lead to a long term, permanent opportunity.
This is a fantastic role for an experienced Administrator who wants to make a real impact and grow with a thriving company. You’ll work closely with the Service team to coordinate repairs, ensure smooth workshop operations, and deliver top-notch customer service.
* £13.33 – £14.36 per hour (£26,000 – £28,000)
* Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm with a 1-hour lunch break
* Office-based
* Due to the urgency of the role, candidates must be immediately available or within 1 weeks’ notice
Duties and responsibilities:
* Booking workshop repairs and assigning work to engineers
* Liaising with parts team to check stock/order parts
* Updating CRM system and logging all relevant information
* Communicating with customers and keeping them informed
* Liaising with and building relationships with 3rd party suppliers
* Quoting and sending out repair costs
* Sending out invoices once jobs are completed
Skills and experience:
* Extensive experience in an administrative role is essential
* Knowledge of the automotive sector would be preferred
* Strong organisational skills with good time management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to problem solve and make decisions under pressure
* Portrays enthusiasm and ambition to learn and develop
* Confident working as part of a team
* Takes a positive, proactive approach
* IT proficient, with good knowledge of MS Office with experience using a CRM system
