The Opportunity: Workshop Support Engineer/ PDI Engineer

Contract: Permanent

Location: Conwy

Salary: £25,282

The Impact you will have:

  • Working in conjunction with Technical/Workshop staff to assess the condition of product at the work entry stage and/or as work progresses during machine preparation in order to identify the type and cost effective level of work required to bring the equipment up to the standard required for its planned future use.
  • Working safely and within the preparation schedule and cost/time guidelines, to carry out paintwork repairs in the most cost effective way
  • Ensure that work done and final component/product performance will pass Briggs inspection/audit and that all service documentation is correctly completed.
  • Utilising skills to assist with other engineering related work such as; identifying damage, fueling, changing gas bottles, fitting forks and checking rating plates.
  • Maintaining all painting and jet wash equipment within the Preparations areas and ensure strict controls of Paint and consumables, Maintain stock levels of paint and consumables, ensuring they are managed in the most cost effective way.
