Forklift Yard Operative

  • Location: Maidstone
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 17:30
  • Pay: £13per hour
  • Ongoing assignment

The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Maidstone for a Forklift Yard Operative to join a busy timber yard. This is a great opportunity for long-term work with the possibility of a permanent contract after 12 weeks.

Key Duties:

  • Operating a forklift in a busy yard environment
  • Assisting with general yard duties including loading/unloading timber
  • Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and safe
  • Working as part of a close-knit team

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance)
  • Own transport due to location
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in a physical environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
