Year 1 Teaching Assistant Role
Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
FOUR DAYS A WEEK
A fantastic primary school in Westminster is looking for a passionate and experienced Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. In this role, you will assist the class teacher, work with small groups, and support the day-to-day activities across the classroom. Phonics experience is essential, as you’ll be helping deliver phonics lessons and support students in developing their literacy skills.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Strong understanding of phonics and how to support young learners with literacy
Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in Year 1
Confidence in assisting with both academic and general classroom activities
A relevant qualification in education or a related field
Availability for the full academic year
An enhanced DBS disclosure (or willingness to apply for one)
