The Role – Year 5 Teaching Assistant
As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a Year 5 student who has autism to provide support both inside and outside the classroom. You will assist in delivering tailored lessons and activities, helping them with who may need additional academic support, and ensuring they are able to engage with the curriculum effectively. You will also support the teacher in managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. Additionally, you will assist in developing the students social and emotional well-being.
