Local Implementation Lead (LIL) role for Merthyr TydfilLlamau and Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales are looking for a highly motivated, creative and resilient person to lead the People and Communities work in Merthyr Tydfil.The Local Implementation Lead role seeks to bring public, private and voluntary sectors together, promoting collaboration, creativity, and connections to build a preventative pathway in Merthyr that enhances the emotional wellbeing of young people.As a Local Implementation Lead, you'll use your facilitation, negotiation, and diplomacy skills to unite cross-sector systems leaders and young people. Together, you'll drive a locality-focused plan, innovating in service design and resource allocation to ensure comprehensive support for young people facing complex issues.Read more about how the People and Communities work has developed in Merthyr to date here.In People and Communities, the Foundation has been working alongside 6 places across England and Wales – including Merthyr – with aims to strengthen small community led organisations and find new ways of designing and resourcing services so that people facing complex issues get the support they need, when they need it and in ways that work best for them.Full and extensive training and support is provided to the LIL through the Communities team at the Foundation and via peer support from Local Implementation Leads from the other 5 places involved.Llamau will be the host organisation and employer for the Merthyr Tydfil Local Implementation Lead.It is desirable but not essential that the Local Implementation Lead is based in Merthyr Tydfil.
