The role will include promoting the annual event and sharing stories that highlight the role of the Eisteddfod - an organisation that celebrates all things Welsh and contributing to the development of Welsh culture.The festival is held annually during the first week of August, traveling from area to area, visiting the north and the south alternately. It is an opportunity for communities across Wales to welcome thousands of visitors over a period of eight days.As Press and Media Manager, you will join a friendly and dynamic team to develop and raise the profile of the Eisteddfod in the press and media. Your responsibilities will include contributing to social media channels, preparing newsletters, and building relationships with politicians and key stakeholders.We are looking for a candidate who has a solid relationship with the press and the media, experience in developing and implementing communication strategies, and excellent communication skills - written and verbal - in Welsh and English.
