Severn Wye is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual to work with Monmouthshire households and communities to relieve fuel poverty and champion energy efficiency. You will work as a Community Energy Advocate for our Energy Advice and Advocacy Monmouthshire project, part of the Communities team at Severn Wye. This role represents a partnership between Severn Wye and Monmouthshire County Council and a range of local support organisations making a real difference to people’s lives across the county. You will be working as one of a team of two community energy advocates in the county, covering half of the county area, delivering home visits, meetings at community hubs and telephone consultations, offering support, reporting, delivering presentations and participating in events for partners. In this role you will be home-based, travelling to appointments in client’s homes, community hubs, partners’ premises and public events.
