All staff must work flexibly on occasions to meet the needs of women and children.Compulsory participation in the 3rd Tier out of hours on-call rota.Location: GwentCyfannol’s mission is to empower women and children to flourish in a life free from domestic abuse and sexual violence.We offer a range of services throughout Gwent that encompass prevention, awareness-raising, safety, support and personal development opportunities for women and their children who have experienced violence against women, domestic abuse and/or sexual violence (VAWDASV).About the roleOur cultural vision is one of developing and maximising our people’s potential.The Boost project team leader will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project and support of the peer advisors and placements. They will also ensure the project meets its targets and outcomes whilst supporting peers and the partner organisations associated with the project as the first point of contact. About youYou will be resilient and robust with the ability to build trust and relationships with vulnerable people easily. You will have an understanding and an empathetic personality, which will assist your approach when providing practical and emotional support to people via a range of methods. You will enjoy variety and change with the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative, although supported by a three tiered on-call system.
