APPOINTMENT OF THE NATIONAL ADVISER FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN, DOMESTIC ABUSE AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE.Remuneration – Circa £73,978, enrolment into the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme, plus reasonable expenses – full time (37 hours per week) or on a job share basis. Working days negotiable depending upon the successful candidate.Duration: Four years.           Location: Pan WalesThe Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) National Adviser will work alongside the Government to advise and assist the Welsh Ministers to promote the prevention of VAWDASV and the protection of and support for all victims and survivors of gender-based violence in Wales. They will be appointed at an exciting time as we approach the ten-year anniversary of our ground-breaking legislation and will provide an informed perspective on the development and delivery of a new national VAWDASV strategy.The National Adviser will be an expert in this field and understand the impacts of VAWDASV on a wide range of people and communities such as older people, Black, Asian and minority communities, LGBTQ+ communities, disabled people, migrant women, children and young people.   The closing date for applications is Sunday 30 March 2025 at 4pm.

You have experience managing events, your own workload and are able to work evenings/ weekends if required.
