Fundraising & Grants Officer, WalesLocation: Wales, with either home working and/ or office based (office location is Cardiff)Hours: 21 hours per weekSalary: £16,500 (pro rata of £27,500), with future progression to £19,200 (pro rata of £32,000)Closing date: 11th May 2025We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and results-driven Fundraising & Grants Officer to join our Income Generation team to raise funds across all fundraising activities, with a focus on charitable funds, foundations, Welsh Government grants and corporate partnerships.You will have an appreciation of the work of NYAS and the challenges faced by care experienced children and young people who NYAS support with a view to helping us change young lives.You will work to expand NYAS’s funding base to secure grants in Wales to support existing projects and to develop new projects to help more young people. You will also identify new corporate partners whilst helping to nurture existing relationships whilst supporting with fundraising across NYAS.Other duties include:Working in partnership with colleagues internally and externally to write funding applications which are in line with our strategic plan and campaigns strategy that meet the needs of the children, young people and families we work with and for.Research and write excellent funding applications to a range of funders, including Welsh Government, charitable trusts and foundations and community funds which are fully tailored to the funding criteria and motivates the funders to offer grants.Develop compelling cases for support which package projects and their associated costs into suitable proposals for grant funding.Co-ordinate / contribute to the completion of outcome monitoring and reporting to grant and project funders.About youYou will have experience in a similar role and share our passion to help more young care experienced people.
